You may want to visit the best of Sitges beaches first. If you are looking for a beach that has everything you need, then Platja de la Ribera (the Ribera) is your place. It runs just over 1 km long and is situated at the heart of the Passeig de la Ribera. La Ribera is popular among the whole family as well as romantic couples and even lone travelers.
The beach offers some of the finest services such as lifeguards, showers, loungers available for rent, and also disabled access. Since the beach can get very crowded during peak season, we advise arriving early in the day or before 11 am.
Platja Sant Sebastià — The Iconic Postcard Beach

Best Time to Visit Sitges Beaches
- June and September — warm weather, calm seas, fewer crowds. These are the golden months for most visitors.
- July and August — peak season. The beaches are at their liveliest but also the busiest. Arrive early to secure a good spot.
- May and October — quieter and still pleasant. Water temperature sits between 20 and 22°C, which is very comfortable for swimming.
The swimming season officially runs from May to October. August sees the sea reach its warmest, at around 26 to 28°C.
